Blink, Malcom Gladwell’s book about rapid cognition, will soon become a film. The question, of course, is how. Taking the central theme from Gladwell’s book, the movie will center around a boy who can size people up on the blink of an eye, and whose father wants him to both find his way and use him to make money on Wall Street. This Rain Man-like plot has been written and directed by Stephen Gaghan, who has made other labyrinthine thrillers like Traffic and Syriana. Al Pacino is in talks for the lead role, and number of teen actors are being screened for the role of the son, for “tween" appeal. Zac Efron, anyone?
