Once again Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari is off to Dubai as tensions between the country's civilian government and the military reach new heights. The day after he fired the defense secretary, Zardari flew to Dubai for what sources tell Reuters is a follow-up to his earlier medical visit. That visit sparked rumors that he was fleeing a coup attempt. The army warned of "grievous consequences" after Zardari accused the heads of the military and intelligence of violating the constitution.
