The Pakistani Taliban has vowed revenge after India on Wednesday executed a Pakistani man for his role in the 2008 terrorist attack in Mumbai. Mohammed Ajmal Kasab, the lone surviving gunman from the attack that killed 160, was hanged on Wednesday in Pune, India. A spokesman for the Pakistani Taliban has said that the group would conduct attacks in India in response, though he did not provide any details. The spokesman also demanded that Kasab’s body be returned to Pakistan for an Islamic burial and criticized the Pakistani government for not requesting that the body be returned.
