The race for the next New York governor got messier Tuesday night when Republican candidate Carl Paladino claimed his opponent, New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, had extramarital affairs. Paladino offered no proof for the claim, and made it several minutes after declaring off-limits his own extramarital affair, which his 10-year-old daughter is the result of. In an interview with Politico, Paladino asked if anyone had ever inquired why Cuomo's wife “left him or threw him out of the house? Has anybody ever done that? What are they doing intruding on my life?” Cuomo’s divorce from Robert Kennedy’s daughter Kerry Kennedy was front-page news in 2003. Paladino, who surprisingly nabbed the New York GOP primary after receiving support from the Tea Party, also angrily confronted a reporter Wednesday for going to the home of the mother of his 10-year-old daughter.
