Palin Booed on Dancing With the Stars

At appearance in support of Bristol.

Sarah Palin was booed on Dancing With the Stars Monday after she appeared on the show in support of her daughter Bristol. The boos could be heard before Palin actually appeared on camera—presumably while she was taking her place. “Why is there booing?” asked actress Jennifer Grey, who had just completed her routine. Palin kept it civil, praising “Bristol the pistol” and refusing to say anything about the judges because “It's like a hockey game. You're not going to chew out the refs before your team is up.” Bristol received a warmer reception from the judges than her mother did from the audience, earning a score of 22 out of 30 points.
