Sarah Palin has endorsed Tom Tancredo, the independent candidate for governor of Colorado who was so anti-immigrant as a congressman that President Bush banned him from the White House. In a robocall, Palin says, “Tom is the right man for the job, and he’ll fight for lower taxes, he’ll stop growing government, and start growing the economy. And we know he’ll continue to work to end illegal immigration.” Tancredo has been polling behind Democrat John Hickenlooper but has closed to within 10 points.
