Ahead of President Obama’s eulogy in Tucson, former Gov. Sarah Palin released a video statement Wednesday in response to the Arizona shooting. In the nearly eight-minute video, released via Facebook, Palin accuses the media of “blood libel.” She says "journalists and pundits should not manufacture a blood libel that serves only to incite the very hatred and violence they purport to condemn." Palin had come under fire over the Tucson shooting rampage because Rep. Gabrielle Giffords, who was shot in the head, was featured in a Palin map featuring crosshairs over select congressional districts. Palin defends the map, saying Republicans weren't the only ones who used gun-related images during the campaign.
