Michael Jackson's 13-year-old Paris is stepping out of the shadows Thursday, making her first solo appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Paris talks about her upcoming acting gigs, and how her dad inspired her work. "We would do improv together," she says. "He would give us little scenarios. He would say, 'OK, in this scene, you're going to cry,' and I'd cry on the spot." She also comments on her dad's requirement that she wear a mask in public. "I'm like, 'This is stupid. Why am I wearing a mask?' But I kind of realized the older I got like he only tried to protect us and he'd explain that to us, too."
