A knife-wielding man who was shot and killed outside a Paris police station Thursday was wearing a fake suicide vest, according to local media reports. French police said the man shouted “Allahu akbar” as he tried to enter the police building on Thursday, which coincided with the first anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo attack. Officials have also said that the man was holding a piece of paper with an ISIS flag on it. Police are asking residents in the area to stay inside and away from windows. Officials are using a robot to inspect the suspect’s body after witnesses reported wires emerging from his clothing.
