Belgian officials say terrorists may have been spying on one of its top nuclear officials prior to the Nov. 13 attacks in Paris. During a raid by investigators following the massacre, police reportedly discovered a 10-hour-long tape showing the exterior of the home of a man who worked at the Belgian Nuclear Research Center. Officials say they are investigating the footage, though “there is no element that says that this was to perpetrate an attack,” said prosecutors’ spokesman Thierry Werts. He added that the video was discovered “a while ago.” Several people were reportedly detained during the raid, but Werts would not say whether they were the same men Belgium has charged in the attacks.
