Pat Quinn Wins Governor of Illinois

The former seat of Rod Blagojevich remains in Democrats’ hands. Illinois Governor Pat Quinn won reelection, according to the Associated Press. He beat out GOP challenger Bill Brady, though it’s still not official: The AP is basing its report on an analysis of absentee votes, which it says will not be able to close Quinn’s 19,400-vote lead. "I think the people of Illinois know I won the election," Quinn said.
