Paul McCartney Weds Nancy Shevell

Love can work it out: Former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney married American heiress Nancy Shevell Sunday in a private ceremony in London. McCartney, 64, and Shevell, 51, posed for photos outside of Old Marylebone Town Hall register, where hundreds of fans gathered to wish them well. The couple then held a reception at their home in London for close friends and family. Shevell wore a long-sleeved white dress while McCartney chose a dark suit with a white shirt and pale blue collar. McCartney told reporters he felt “terrific, thank you ... I feel absolutely wonderful.” This is the third marriage for McCartney, his first wife, Linda McCartney, died in 1998 and his second marriage to Heather Mills ended in an acrimonious—and very public—divorce.
