Paul Ryan was stumpin’ and Bible thumpin’ on Sunday at rally in Colorado. During a town hall meeting with evangelical Christians, the Catholic congressman said that President Barack Obama’s agenda for the nation “compromises those values, those Judeo-Christian values that made us such a great and exceptional nation in the first place.” Ryan had been somewhat sidelined in recent weeks, and the running mate has steered clear of pointed attacks on the president. A Ryan spokesman said the GOP veep candidate was “talking about issues like religious liberty and Obamacare.”
