Someone wants to be vice president. After dropping out of the presidential race last month, former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty has endorsed Mitt Romney to be the Republican Party’s candidate in 2012. “I believe he’s going to be our party’s nominee,” Pawlenty told Fox and Friends Monday. He praised Romney’s “leadership ability” and “depth and scope,” while predicting that he’d be a “great and transformational president.” Pawlenty will join Romney’s campaign as a national co-chairman.
