Richard “Old Man” Harrison, beloved patriarch of the “Pawn Stars” family, died Monday at 77, reports Fox News. After investing $10,000 in a pawn store in 1988, Fox reports, Harrison grew the business into a multi-million dollar enterprise—which in 2009 became the subject of the History show that has now run for 15 seasons. Harrison managed the store with his son, Rick, and grandson, Corey. “Richard Benjamin ‘The Old Man’ Harrison passed away this morning surrounded by those he loved. He will be tremendously missed by our family, the team at Gold & Silver Pawn and his many fans the world over,” his son told Fox. “He was my hero and I was fortunate to get a very cool ‘Old Man’ as my dad.”
