Pelosi ‘Attacks’ Colbert

In new spoof video promoting the DISCLOSE act.

Call it a spoof of a spoof. Former House speaker Nancy Pelosi has released a video “attacking” Stephen Colbert’s super PAC. Pelosi narrates the video satire, which features black-and-white pictures of herself with Colbert, saying he “used to be my friend” but now he’s “out of control” for taking money from money from special interests for his super PAC. She adds, “And if that weren’t enough, I hear he doesn’t even like kittens.” Toward the end of the video, Pelosi finally explains her bizarre parody, which is actually an attempt to promote the so-called DISCLOSE Act that House Democrats are reintroducing Thursday. The act would make campaign funding and donor money for super PACs more transparent.
