Afterward, the room reportedly fell silent.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was reportedly forced to interrupt a loud conversation between men at a recent dinner with President Trump during which Democratic leaders tried to make a deal with the president on the DACA program. “Do the women get to talk around here?” Pelosi asked, according to the Washington Post. After she reportedly interjected, the room went silent. Pelosi, the only woman at the meeting, was trying to make a point but the men in the room kept talking over her. Drew Hammill, Pelosi’s deputy chief of staff, shared the Post excerpt on Twitter on Thursday night.
