In an interview with Fox News’s Bret Baier, Vice President Mike Pence said Thursday that recent stories about former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn’s undisclosed work on behalf of the Turkish government reaffirmed President Trump’s decision to seek his resignation. Pence claimed that media reports about Flynn were “the first I heard of it and I think it is an affirmation of the president’s decision to ask General Flynn to resign.” White House press secretary Sean Spicer similarly said Thursday that Trump was not aware of Flynn's work either. Two days ago, Flynn’s company, Flynn Intel Group, filed paperwork with the Justice Department identifying him as a foreign agent.
