At the request of President Obama, Navy Admiral Patrick Walsh conducted a review of the prison at Guantanamo Bay and concluded that the notorious detainment center met the Geneva Conventions' standards for humane treatment. The ACLU has already dubbed Walsh's report a "farce" and a "whitewash." Though Obama announced he would close Guantanamo's prison within his first year in office, Walsh included in his report recommendations for improving the prison, including increasing human contact between prisoners.
