It just keeps getting worse: The Department of Defense announced Tuesday that the United Kingdom received a shipment of live anthrax, making it the fourth foreign country to get the highly toxic bacteria. Sixty-eight labs across four countries, 19 states, and the District of Columbia received the lethal spores. The anthrax was supposed to be irradiated to death before shipment but the Pentagon in recent weeks has found that wasn’t the case.
