Now that the adrenaline rush subsided, the competitive female shopper who wielded pepper spray at a Los Angeles-area Walmart has turned herself in. Los Angeles police confirmed the news on Saturday morning, saying the woman who allegedly injured at least 20 shoppers with pepper spray around 10:20 on Thursday night had surrendered on Friday night. As Walmart's doors opened, a crowd formed around a crate of discounted Xbox video game players when the woman began spraying people around her to get to the front of the line. She is currently not in custody but could face battery charges. Her identity has not yet been revealed, but authorities said they plan to release more details on Saturday.
