Rick Perry is doing everything in his power to save his presidential campaign after his disastrous “oops” moment during Wednesday night’s debate. Having appeared on the David Letterman show Thursday night to make light of the incident, the Texas governor has now purchased nearly $1 million of advertising time on Fox News, according to a rival campaign monitoring ad sales. The hefty purchase will ensure that Perry’s ads will run as much as seven times a day. Most of the ads will likely run on Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity’s top-rated programs, along with several throughout the day, which could potentially help pull up his poll numbers and fundraising base.
