Texas Gov. Rick Perry told Christians to turn to God for answers to the country’s problems while he was speaking at a national prayer event. Roughly 30,000 people attended the Texas rally, called The Response. Perry said that a return to Christian ideals would help solve the nation’s problems. He said, “Our heart breaks for America. We see discord at home. We see fear in the marketplace. We see anger in the halls of government.”
