Drew Peterson in court for sentencing on Thursday. (Tom Gianni/AP)
A judge handed Drew Peterson a sentence of 38 years in prison on Thursday. The four years Peterson has already served in custody will, however, count as part of his sentence. The judge denied that request before giving Peterson his sentence. The defendant's lawyers promised to continue the fight for an appeal, insisting, “Wouldn’t you be angry if you were wrongly convicted?”
