General David Petraeus collapsed in his chair while testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee on Tuesday morning. The Washington Post says Petraeus fell during an exchange with Senator John McCain. Petraeus was walked out of the room afterward, and the hearing has been recessed. Senator Carl Levin (D-MI), the chairman of the committee, says Petraeus “appears to be doing very well” and that he “probably didn’t have enough to drink before coming in here this morning.”
