The Secret Life of Pets won the box office weekend with an impressive opening of $103.2 million. The movie only cost $75 million to make. Pets beat out Finding Dory which dropped to third place with $20.4 million after spending three consecutive weekends as the top box office performer. Pets joins a whole host of animated movies that have performed well at the box office this year.
