Pharmaceutical company Pfizer has reportedly approached Irish-based Allergan about a merger that would create a $330 billion drug titan. Shares of Allergan soared 30 percent in pre-market trading upon news of a potential deal Thursday morning. According to reports, a combination of the two companies could result in the largest takeover in an already busy year of major mergers and acquisitions.
