Philadelphia Flyers Introduce Horrifying New Mascot Named ‘Gritty’
Most mascots are equal parts cute and terrifying. The NHL's newest one skips the cute part.
Apparently believing the world to not yet be fully saturated with nightmares, the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday morning introduced their brand-new mascot, named Gritty, with an apparent intent to fill NHL fans with terror:

Gah! And as if that weren’t bad enough, the Flyers prepared a seizure-inducing introduction video of the furry abomination:
