Apparently believing the world to not yet be fully saturated with nightmares, the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday morning introduced their brand-new mascot, named Gritty, with an apparent intent to fill NHL fans with terror:

Gah! And as if that weren’t bad enough, the Flyers prepared a seizure-inducing introduction video of the furry abomination:
