One day after Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy had his domestic violence charges expunged, Deadspin released all the photographs and court documents related to a 2014 incident in which the NFL star allegedly grabbed his ex-girlfriend, threw her against the bathroom wall and furniture, strangled her, and threatened to kill her. The graphic images show that Nicole Holder sustained bruising and wounds all over her body, and testimony shows she was terrified of doing anything to jeopardize Hardy's football career, hence an initial reluctance to tell police about the attack. The case was eventually dismissed after Holder could not be located by prosecutors, and after the court received information that she and the football star had reached a private settlement.
