A silver plate crafted by Pablo Picasso has gone missing from Art Miami, an Art Basel satellite fair in South Florida. The plate was stolen from the Leslie Smith Gallery, where the owner walked up to his booth on Friday morning to see only an empty holder on the wall where the plate used to hang. The piece, crafted in 1956 and called Visage aux Mains, is a silver plate about 16.5 inches long and engraved with a smiling face and stick-finger hands. It is valued at about $85,000.
