The new face of the RNC, Michael Steele, wants to orchestrate a makeover of his party that will appeal to "urban-suburban hip-hop settings." Steele plans to bring the GOP into the 21st century by copying the Obama playbook: generous use of the Internet and savvy targeted advertising. Explaining that Republicans have become too "regional," Steele said he will be working to attract young people, Hispanics and blacks. At times, Steele's comments read like a musician hyping his new album about to drop. He called out his critics and said his plans will "surprise everyone."
