Pink will give away 1,000 banned books at each show on the Florida leg of her tour, saying it’s “hateful to see authorities take aim at books about race and racism and against LGBTQ authors and those of color.” The pop star is teaming up with PEN America in the effort, which unfolds in the No. 1 state for pulling books off shelves. “I am unwilling to stand by and watch while books are banned by schools,” Pink said, according to People.
