The house in Pretoria, South Africa, where Oscar Pistorius shot dead his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp has been sold in order to pay legal bills that are an estimated at $9,000 a day. The house was valued at $480,000. Pistorius lost endorsement deals of more than $510,000 a year when his trial for murder began. The double-amputee sprinter also owned two other houses, worth $145,000 total, and a some land in Cape Town at the time of his bail hearing. He has been charged with intentionally killing his 29-year-old girlfriend on Valentine's Day last year, a charge he denies.
