A Nepal Airlines plane carrying 18 people is missing and believed to have crashed in the country's mountainous west. Authorities fear for the worst after losing contact with the plane within the first few minutes of takeoff. It made an unscheduled fuel stop in the city of Pokhara on the trip between Katmandu to Jumia. It was snowing in the mountains and there was low visibility due to fog. The Twin Otter plane had three crew members and 15 passengers, including a child.
