Pulitzer Prize winning poet Philip Levine died of pancreatic cancer at age 87 on Saturday morning. The former poet laureate to the United States, who served from 2011 to 2012, spent more than 30 years teaching university in Fresno, California. He was known for poetry that depicted the working-class, and once said it was his duty to "find a voice for the voiceless."
