Roman Polanski will be questioned by Polish officials who have received an extradition request from officials in Los Angeles. The director, who lives in France, has been in Poland preparing to shoot a new movie. “Prosecutors will want to summon Polanski for questioning,” a spokesman for the prosecutor general’s office in Warsaw said. Polanski pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl in 1977 but then fled the U.S. the following year.
