Boston followed the New York model of occupier eviction: a predawn surprise raid. Police swept into the 10-week-old encampment at 5 a.m., tearing down tents and arresting 46 protesters. “If you don’t leave the park, you will be subject to arrest. You are trespassing on Greenway property,” said police when they entered the camp. About two dozen were arrested when they linked arms and sat down. After 20 minutes, the camp had been cleared and a front-end loader scooped up the debris and emptied it into a garbage truck.
