Police in Amherst, N.Y., reportedly found a meth lab under the parking lot of a Walmart superstore this week. According to Det. Lt. JoAnn DiNoto said, the department “stumbled upon” the narcotics at the end of a drainage pipe, wide enough for a 6-foot-tall person to walk through, underneath the store lot. The lab included a makeshift table with the solvents necessary to make methamphetamines. “There was no danger to the community or Walmart shoppers or contaminating water source,” DiNoto assured.
