Police in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, foiled a plot to kill its officers using stolen guns from a pawn shop, according to a report. Three people were arrested in connection with the alleged plot. A Baton Rouge police officer fatally shot a black man, Alton Sterling, last week in an encounter that was caught on video. Sterling’s death—in addition to that of Philando Castile in Minnesota—set off a new wave of Black Lives Matter protests nationwide.
