Police said that Colorado shooting suspect James Holmes, a 24-year-old student, built up a personal stockpile of weaponry—a sign that he was planning his deadly night months in advance. Holmes prepared for the attack on a Colorado movie theater he mounted Friday with “calculation and deliberation,” law-enforcement officials said Saturday, including the receipt by mail order of bomb-making materials used to booby-trap his apartment. “He had a high volume of deliveries,” Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates said. “We think this explains how he got his hands on the magazine, ammunition,” and explosives, he said.
