Police in Oman have not discovered any evidence to suggest criminal involvement in the death of Tim Bergling, better known by his DJ stage name Avicii, according to Agence France-Presse. The 28-year-old Swedish star was found dead in Muscat on Friday, though no details were released on the circumstances of his death at that time. “Two autopsies were carried out, one yesterday and one today and we absolutely confirmed that there is no criminal suspicion in the death,” a law enforcement source told AFP on Saturday. The source said police do not intend to make any further public statements on the case. After gaining international fame with his 2013 hit “Wake Me Up,” Bergling retired from touring in 2016 over health concerns. He had been open about suffering from pancreatitis and other health issues, partly as a result of excessive drinking.
