The scandal spreads: Police investigating allegations of phone hacking raided another tabloid's office, the Daily Star, marking the first time the investigation has spread beyond News of the World. The raid comes after the arrest of Clive Goodman, the former royal editor for News of the World, who now works for the Star. Goodman was imprisoned for phone hacking in 2007 and was arrested again this morning in connection with paying police for information. The Star is owned by businessman Richard Desmond and has no connection to News Corp.
