Police officers in Lynwood, California, shot and killed 28-year-old Nicholas Robertson on Saturday as he tried to crawl away from them. Deputies first responded on the scene to calls reporting an armed person near a gas station in Lynwood. Deputies allegedly told Robertson to drop his gun. A video released after the event Saturday shows police firing at Robertson as he walked away from the officers. Robertson is seen crawling on the ground after many rounds of gunfire erupt and more shots are fired before the video ends. Robertson’s family members claim he was unarmed but police say that is not the case.
