Oakland's protest encampment is now occupied by riot police. Occupy Wall Street protesters repeatedly clashed with police as they tried to retake the plaza where they'd been camping for weeks. Police raided the encampment Tuesday morning, but the protesters soon regrouped and attempted to march back to the park. Several clashes followed, with police firing tear gas, flash grenades, and beanbag rounds to disperse the protesters. Police say protesters threw eggs, paint, and bottles at police. More than 100 people were arrested. In Atlanta, about 50 protesters were arrested as police cleared out a park where they had been camped for weeks.
