Despite a rocky few weeks for her campaign, Hillary Clinton is maintaining a national lead over Republican nominee Donald Trump. According to the latest NBC/Wall Street Journal poll, released Wednesday, the Democratic nominee leads Trump by 7 percentage points, 48% to 41%, among likely voters in a two-way matchup. When the two most popular third-party candidates are added, Clinton’s lead falls to 6 points, with Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson and the Green Party’s Jill Stein raking in a combined 12% support. The survey was conducted among 1,000 registered voters following Clinton’s return to the campaign trail after her pneumonia diagnosis.
