Just last month he was down by double digits in Ohio, but GOP presidential frontrunner Mitt Romney has now tied rival Rick Santorum in the state, according to another poll that seems to confirm the surge of the former Massachusetts governor. The Reuters/Ipsos poll released Sunday shows the two candidates tied with 32 percent support each from likely voters in arguably the most important of the 10 states that vote on this week’s Super Tuesday contest. Romney is gaining momentum after notching another win in Saturday’s Washington caucuses.
