Oy, it's not looking good for the POTUS in Iowa. According to a new survey by The Des Moines Register, President Obama would lose to three of the four Republican candidates if the election were held today. Considering that Iowa was where Obama launched his 2008 winning campaign, the news should come as a worrying sign. According to the poll, Ron Paul would beat Obama 49 percent to 42 percent in a head-to-head race. Rick Santorum would win 48 to 44, and Mitt Romney would eek out a 46–44 victory. The only candidate Obama would beat is Newt Gingrich, 51 percent to 37 percent. “This is not a secure state for Obama,” said J. Ann Selzer, pollster for The Register.
