Yikes, it can’t be good when holding a baby on a campaign stop backfires. Mitt Romney was heckled Tuesday for his comments the day before about firing people. At a polling station at a high school in Manchester, N.H., while his supporters chanted, “Let’s go, Mitt,” a rowdy crowd chanted for Ron Paul and asked Romney if he wanted to fire the baby he was holding. The critics were referring to a comment Romney made during a Chamber of Commerce breakfast Monday where he said, “I like being able to fire people who provide a service to me.” He tried Tuesday to explain that he was talking about firing insurance companies.
