Pope Francis has come down with a mild flu and canceled his Saturday appearances, including a meeting with the president of Guinea Bissau. It’s not clear of the 86-year-old pontiff, who has only one lung, will be well enough to address the crowds in St. Peter’s Square on Sunday. In a week, the pope is scheduled to travel to Dubai to meet with world leaders at the COP28 climate conference.
