When Pope Francis visits Philadelphia in September, he’ll be getting the presidential treatment. While speaking outside Independence Hall, the Pope will deliver his speech from the same lectern that President Abraham Lincoln used as he delivered the Gettysburg Address in 1836. Pope Francis will be speaking on immigration and religious liberty during his visit on September 26 and 27 as the triennial Catholic conference, the World Meeting of Families, comes to a close.
